New Chronological Bible Causes Confusion

Aug 27

**Note: Some have misunderstood this post as to be a criticism of the concept of a chronological Bible. I was merely posting a piece that said some are not pleased with the format, and while a chronological Bible might be a great study tool, it definitely would be confusing to some Christians today who are already dealing with a multitude of Bible versions and not much Bible knowledge. These have been around a while, but Nelson is marketing their new version of it.**

Adding to the already vast number of Bible variations on the market, Thomas Nelson is trying something new, and some are not happy about it at all. The new Chronological Bible makes dramatic changes to the location of books of the Bible based on the order in which events occured. Imagine trying to do a Bible study when people not only are holding 25 translations of the Bible, but are feverishly trying to find Psalm 51 because it has been relocated to the story of David and Bathsheba.
