Readers Digest Association Hooks Up with Rick Warren

Lighthouse Trails has a post about Readers Digest teaming up with Rick Warren for a “multi-platform partnership” for Purpose Driven purposes. We all, of course, know that the Readers Digest Association is passionately concerned for the lost souls of America, and is partnering with Rick Warren so that salvation through the merits of Christ alone will be preached around the world, right? If the Readers Digest execs thought for a moment that Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven campaign would be used to preach salvation exclusively through Jesus Christ, they would have run for the hills. They are not concerned in the least that Rick Warren will do that. A new “gospel” of deeds, not creeds, is something every humanist business executive can support.
