Ted Haggard is a gift that just keeps on giving. Now there are new allegations of gay romps from someone else who was paid off by the church in a legal settlement. I wasn’t aware that paying off people and demanding their silence over their pastor’s sodomite conduct was considered Christian practice, but at New Life Church, apparently that’s all in a day’s work. Now, after seeing Ted Haggard on his HBO publicity tour, the payee is wanting a piece of the action and is going public. Ted has already taped Oprah, who now says homosexuality is a gift from God, and he’s headed for Larry King next. Note that it’s a secular newspaper that points out that Haggard is a “disgraced pastor.” Ted remains blissfully shame free. I will repeat my assertion that Haggard will be the pastor of a new apostate church before long. It’s only a matter of time.
