*Updated* A Christian Girl’s Role Model on the MTV Red Carpet?

Sep 11 by Ingrid Schlueter

**Updated: My point has been made. I have removed the links. Men are complaining, rightly, that the photos are troubling their conscience. If it troubles the conscience of grown men, shouldn’t it bother us that this woman is being called a role model for Christian girls by some?**

To the male “Christian” bloggers who were nearly incontinent after I dared claim that Miley Cyrus was no role model for Christian girls, I give you and you only a link from the MTV Music Awards on September 7. “Hannah Montana”, who is revered as a wholesome model of American and, yes, Christian girlhood, decided to mock the uproar over Katie Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” song while she was photographed with Perry on the MTV Awards red carpet. **BIG Warning about Content** After seeing this link, I think I do understand the, er, Christian males who defend Miley Cyrus. By the way she and her colleague are dressed,  I’m understanding these male bloggers defense of her more all the time…

To the rest of Slice readers, I have posted this link because I want to demonstrate how the howls and snarls of the males who called me ridiculous and uptight and foolish for daring to criticize Miley Cyrus as a Christian role model for little girls were misplaced. Most importantly, the young woman claims to do what she does “for Jesus”.
