Issues, Etc. Radio Show Pulled by LCMS Without Explanation **Updated**

Even the website is gone. I was shocked today to learn from Kim Riddlebarger’s blog that the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod has pulled the valuable program Issues, Etc. from the airwaves without explanation. That website was a treasure trove of programming on important issues not only in the LCMS but in Christianity as a whole. The host, Rev. Todd Wilken, brought a biblical, Reformation approach to the issues with his wide range of guests.
I hope that Rev. Wilken (and his excellent producer Jeff Schwartz) can find another place to serve in radio. He was a valuable asset for the church because of his clear voice in defense of biblical truth at a time of such incredible spiritual confusion. The LCMS bureaucrats are going to have to give an explanation for their actions because many of us are left with a whole lot of questions.
